Oregon Computer Science for All (SOCS for All) is an ongoing researcher practitioner partnership funded by the National Science Foundation that includes educators and researchers from Southern Oregon. <br><br>Our goal is to provide K-5 students with the foundation to be successful in future STEM classes and professions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns alignwide is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-center is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"has-raleway-font-family has-midsmall-font-size\" style=\"padding-right:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80);padding-left:var(--wp--preset--spacing--80)\">So far we have found that CT, which is understood as a collection of concepts (pattern recognition, abstraction, decomposition, and algorithms) used in computer science, can be useful in helping K-5 students learn in a wide range of subjects including math, language arts, science, and social science. <br><br>With CT, teachers can provide a structural approach for students in elementary school classrooms to problem
